From the Editor’s Desk….

By Susan Trembly, Forum e-Newsletter Editor
Editor Susan Trembly thanks all Forum contributors and issues a call for articles on Transitioning IT Services for the July issue.

Dear Members:

We are very pleased that members of the itSMF USA® community continue to be impressed with our new format and content.  This issue is packed with many ITIL®/ ITSM and LIG articles, as well as itSMF USA® committee updates and regular columns.  A big thank you to the Forum Committee!!  You are an outstanding group of individuals.  On behalf of the Committee, thank you to all who contributed.  We hope everyone will enjoy the content of this issue.  There are many exciting things happening at itSMF USA®, all geared to continually provide value to our members and improve organizational structure (see David Cannon’s President’s Corner – Board Progress section).

As previously published, we would welcome additional volunteers to serve on the Forum Committee as Contributing Editors to solicit articles and participate in the committee review process.  Due to the increased interest in being published in our newsletter and the number of articles we are receiving, there are plenty of opportunities to be involved.  If you are interested, please contact me at 626/449-3300 or by email at

strembly@itsmfusa.org.

The theme for the next issue of the Forum e-Newsletter will be Transitioning IT Services…we value your contributions on this topic, as well as general ITSM articles and LIG articles that will be of interest to our readers; the deadline for articles is no later than June 10, 2008.  To obtain Author Guidelines, please go to: http://web.memberclicks.com/mc/page.do?sitePageId=5195 .

Best regards,

Susan Trembly, Editor
